Am I the right massage therapist for you?

Finding the right massage therapist is about more than booking a session — it’s about finding someone whose style, values, and approach match what you’re looking for. My work is intentional, therapeutic, and goal-oriented, and I want to give you a clear idea of what that looks like so you can decide if I might be the right fit for you.

My bodywork style is a blend of techniques designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and calm the nervous system. I often use methods like myofascial release, sports-specific massage, and trigger point therapy. Depending on your needs, I may also integrate tools such as cupping, IASTM, or vibration therapy. The work is specific but never forceful. My goal is always to work with your body, not against it, so we can create lasting change without leaving you sore or overwhelmed.

I love working with clients who have clear goals, whether that’s recovering from injury, managing pain, or improving mobility. While Swedish massage has its place, light relaxation work isn’t where I do my best work or what I enjoy most. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m always happy to recommend other therapists who specialize in that style.

During sessions, I don’t initiate conversation — this time is for you. Some clients prefer to chat and connect, while others want to quietly zone out. Both are welcome, and I’ll always follow your lead. Personally, I focus best when I’m not talking, which allows me to give you my best work.

I also don’t believe in working forcefully. Massage isn’t about testing your pain tolerance or pushing through discomfort. Some areas of the body can naturally feel sensitive, but my intention is to create effective change without unnecessary pain. The old “no pain, no gain” approach doesn’t belong in my practice.

Above all, I prioritize clients who prioritize themselves. Massage is most effective when it’s part of a broader commitment to your health and self-care. If you’re only seeking occasional quick fixes, I may not be the best fit. But if you’re invested in your well-being and want a therapist who will work alongside you to support your goals, we’ll work really well together.

My work is for clients who want therapeutic, targeted massage with an emphasis on balance, recovery, and nervous system regulation. If that resonates with you, I’d love to support you in reaching your goals.
